How predictions work
A few things worth knowing before you start tipping.
Predict each match once
Your prediction for a match is shared across every league you're in. You only pick once per match, and that pick counts everywhere you're competing for that competition.
Get your predictions in early
All predictions lock the moment the competition kicks off — once it's started you can no longer change your picks. Lock in your group-stage scores and knockout calls before the competition begins so nothing slips by.
Knockout picks come from your group standings
How you rank the teams in each group decides who you think advances. Those standings flow through the bracket to determine your knockout-round predictions.
Break ties your way
When your predicted group standings are level on points, the usual tiebreakers apply first — and where it's still a tie, you can manually set the order to choose who advances.
Editing a score updates everything
Change a match prediction and any standings, tiebreakers, and knockout picks that depend on it update automatically. Manual tie orderings are overwritten when a score edit changes the outcome.
Free and unlimited leagues
Cup Tipper is completely free. Join or create as many leagues as you like — your predictions follow you into all of them.
